Wash Process

Rugs are assessed and the best method for wash applied. Depending on the integrity of the construction and dyes we may alter this process to meet the needs of each piece.

Dry Soil Removal

Rugs are dusted either by machine or compressed air

Soaking

Rugs are wet out completely

Shampoo

A wool specific cleaning agent is agitated into the fibers

Power Wash

A pressure washer is used to removed stuck on soils and stains

Rinse

Every rug is rinsed on the floor to remove all cleaning agents

Wringer

A wringer is used to flush and squeeze out a majority of the water from the rug

Dry

Rugs are hung in our dry room to dry over night

Finishing

Fringe, stain removal, and specialty work is performed by hand
